Hi everyone,
My mum and I are taking part in the Memory Walk in memory of my amazing grandad “Moaning Minnie” , and my gran.
The Prince of Wales Hospice were absolutely amazing during my grandad’s stay. They cared for him right through until the end and were there not only for him, but for our whole family when we needed them most.
They even bought him presents for his birthday, which was on Christmas Day. I know this would have made him smile, and it was such a thoughtful thing for them to do. They brought so much kindness and care during such a difficult time — and, of course, my grandad always had them laughing!
We’re taking part in the Memory Walk to help raise money for the Prince of Wales Hospice, so they can continue providing the incredible care and support that means so much to patients and their families during some of the hardest times in their lives.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to us and help support this amazing charity.
