In Memory of Our Beloved Nick
Nick was taken from us far too soon.
In March 2022, Nick was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), a cruel and progressive neurological condition that changed all of our lives. Despite everything this devastating illness brought, Nick continued to face each day with incredible courage and strength.
Sadly, after a brave fight, we lost Nick on 1 May 2026.
Nick was a much-loved husband, cherished family member and wonderful friend. He brought so much love, laughter and happiness to the lives of everyone who knew him. His absence is felt every single day, and he is missed more than words can ever express.
During Nick’s illness, the care and support provided by the Prince of Wales Hospicemeant so much to Nick and to all of us who loved him. The compassion, dignity and kindness shown by the hospice made an incredibly difficult time a little easier for our family.
We are fundraising in Nick’s memory to help support the Prince of Wales Hospice, so that they can continue to provide that same care and comfort to other families facing the most difficult of times.
