Fundraiser - Vickers Street Social Club

Story

On Saturday 22nd August, we will be hosting a fundraising day for The Prince of Wales Hospice at the Vickers Street Social Club.

We will be doing -

- Sponsored head shaves

- Raffles

- Auctioning of sports memorabilia

It costs around £5.4 million pounds to run the hospice each year, around 35% of this is covered by the NHS, meaning that they need to raise around £3.5 million each year, so any donation - big or small, is massively appreciated.

Any funds raised will help to fund vital care for our patients and their loved ones in the five towns area.

The Prince of Wales Hospice has been providing care to people with a life-limiting illness since 1989. Our services are available to any adult from the Five Towns area of the Wakefield District.

Our vision describes how the future of the Hospice will look if we achieve our ultimate aims.
